Hi, I’m Amanda
Certified Holistic Health Practitioner & Coach, IHP2
I am here with a grateful heart as a mom who has suffered with her own hormonal, thyroid, and gut issues. I get how frustrating it is to be dealing with uncomfortable symptoms while also trying to be your best self for your family - energetic, present, and thriving. I don’t want you to go through the same frustrations. That’s why my approach to health seeks to find the root cause to your symptoms and get you the answers you have been searching for.
Health has meant many different things to me over the years, but it was always something that I focused on and cared very much about. And on my journey, I have learned, tried, and understood many different faucets of what health really is. In college, I thought that intense workouts multiple times a week would keep me thin and toned. Throughout my mid and late-20s, I thought that I needed to follow a certain diet or way of eating to make me healthier and leaner. Never did I really care about lifestyle. I figured that as long as ate a particular way and worked out lot, I was good. Health was only diet & exercise in my mind.
Fast forward several years to when I became a mom - I was eating what I thought was healthy, I worked out, and slept well. But, I was dealing with health issues that I couldn’t understand. I suffered from hormonal issues, mineral depletion, thyroid issues, constant state of stress, brittle nails, post-partum anxiety & hair loss, gut issues, liver congestion, and a completely imbalanced system. I say these things not to compare myself, but hopefully to share that I have been in the place of not knowing why I was feeling all of these symptoms. I thought, “why can’t I just have… more energy, less mood swings, no anxious thoughts, no bloating…” I understand how frustrating it is to be left with no answers. And feeling so defeated while raising kids is no easy task. Most days it was hard to have enough energy to get everything done. Other days anxiety made me feel fearful and trapped. And then when the time of the month came, I felt awful from PMS pain and bloating and embarrassed by my acne. I was envious of other women with flat stomachs, no acne, and a carefree attitude. I was tired of feeling down about myself and needed a change.

After coming out on the other side, I see what it takes to heal. I quickly learned that the way I was eating, exercising, and living had wrecked my hormones.
I am passionate about what I do, what I have learned, and what I will continue to learn. After healing myself and seeing that real changes can happen, I want to share it with others. This is the ultimate reason why I chose to become a holistic health practitioner - to help other moms feel their best and not struggle in ways that I did trying to find solutions. It’s about pulling the pieces together and providing easy and actionable steps toward a healthy life. Health should be sustainable and enjoyable, not boring or stressful.
When working with me, what I can promise you is someone that will show up, have empathy, work in collaboration with you, and hold a safe space for you to share anything you want. The ultimate goal is for you get results and I am dedicated in guiding you along the way.
